The Good News is that God has promised to be with us!
God has promised to guide us and provide for us. He's promised to help us and lead us. He's promised to empower us and encourage us and strengthen us so that we can live lives that please him, reflect him, and bring glory and honor to him!
……And he has already demonstrated his faithfulness by making good on the promises he made in Jesus Christ!!
In Jesus, God came and lived among his people. He made a way for our sin to be forgiven by giving himself as a sacrifice on the cross in our place. And through the power of his resurrection, he gives new life to those who trust in him, adopting them as his children and inviting them into his family forever.
God does not leave us alone or without help or without resources when we become Christians. He equips us with everything we need - everything we need - to live a life that pleases him.
We have all we need for life and godliness (2 Peter 1:3).
